    Yeah when the ncdc 1st started it was only 12 teams and u could get some really talented players that just couldn't afford junior a hockey in canada. Now I think the league is 70 teams and is so watered down they're fighting with the EHL which isn't good.

    Our GA Danny Colabufo also just got promoted to interim assistant coach a day or 2 two ago. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree as his dad is a well known HS hockey coach in the Syracuse area.

    My geuss is the MASCAC, Plymouth St was there for a while so we know theyre comfortable with NH schools, Anna Maria looks like theyre not gonna last much longer dropping the conference to 7 teams, and thats a way easier conference to establish a program and win titles vs joining the LEC or the CNE.

    Didnt they already have 12 freshmen last season? Jeez thats gonna be a young team. And the YAC will be much stronger compared to when we tried that strategy.

    That was my 1st thought as well. Why yes Mr NCAA representative my entire hockey team did convert to mormonism a week b4 the season started. That mission trip that starts 2 days after one of my players acl tears is just a coincidence i swear.

    The NAHL also made a huge rule change a few weeks ago. If you play any sort of game (including exhibition games) for any american junior league other than the USHL, NAHL and NA3HL after 9/1 youre no longer allow to play in the NAHL for the rest of that season.     I wonder if high school graduation means strictly k-12 only or if a post grad-prep graduation would also count. Guys would still have 4 years of playing college hockey even if they play juniors until theyre 20 (cant imagine too many 19 year olds are ready) but the no exceptions part including...

    way too early bold take for next season. Hobart wont even make it back to the frozen four next year. they will lose their 1st national tournament game next year (whether thats the 1st round or the quarters.)
