    The top 5-10 ACHA teams are in a league of their own (which is what Niagara has been the past 5 years) they definitely can compete and win vs NCAA opponents. Just ask Denver after they lost to UNLV ACHA. My guess is Niagara wanted a tougher challenge after they blew out Brockport 6-2 last year.

    I guess it makes sense for rebuilding teams but eventually u have to re-calibrate replacing that many guys all at once in 3-4 years isn't ideal for long term success.     I think the SUNY schools that we care about will be safe in the beginning at least. From what I've read it's the private schools thatre gonna go first, and then the smaller technical SUNY colleges (cobleskill, Delhi, morrisville) before the problem creeps up to the bigger SUNY schools.     Yeah it was weird. It is worth noting 26 out of his 28 points were in the 1st 19 games and then he had 2 points in his last 10 games to end the season. Anybody notice a dip in playing time or rumblings of him being in the doghouse last year?
