The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
They always complain like crazy when they lose and it's never their own fault. The hoops thatre jumped through in some of those Facebook comments make me want to become a psychologist sometimes. They're always a comment or 2 complaining about the fans as if we haven't been doing the exact same...
Any chance Goyer starts Friday to switch it up? Otherwise I think beaver is gonna give a bunch of kids in Oswego county some empty presents with his track record.
Wait a sec am I reading this right? Russ and the Utica fan base are agreeing on something???????. I swear if nubby comes in here and agrees with them this new guy will be the undisputed biggest dumbass on the entire d3 forum
They have to go to Pitt and CT....for only hockey. All other Geneseo sports do not make those trips. 20 trips to platty and new paltz across all sports annually cost way more than 1-2 annual trips to those cities for just hockey.Hobart and skidmore are only here because Geneseo and brockport...
Video review started this season for select facilities that meet the minimum requirements. Utica used it in their 1st game against Hobart at the aud. I would imagine the Deb and the Ronny b are nice enough facilities for replay whereas someone like canton or Potsdam does not have such luxury...
Hot take the Utica Hobart game in the aud was better. That being said I have never heard a louder pop ever at that arena. It was literally defening and I couldn't hear myself talk. And for any salty platty fans I was sitting right behind the net when we scored I proceeded to look up and there...
Started watching d3 in 2019. I always thought Adrian was SNC's Main Rival. Never realized the WIAC was only formed 10 years ago until recently. Then again i'm also from the east you could've told me De Pere was in Michigan and I would've believed you.
Week 2 of the weekly roundup is here. Since the NCHA and CNE played mostly conference games this weekend, we will be focusing on just the SUNYAC and UCHC this week, with one exception. No two conferences have battled each other more this season as they have faced off against each other 20 times...
Agreed. It's possible he's dealing with some sort of illness/injury or some sort of internal discipline because he is a good goalie who led us to a sunyac title and has some very impressive wins under his belt. Going from 1st to 3rd in one semester based purely with on ice performance doesn't...
Hot take......I dont like the yellow helmets with the regular jerseys they look to much like clarkson. They would look amazing with the retro jerseys though. If they keep winning though Id rather look like clarkson than lose.
What a game especially for the backup (who may not ne the backup much longer if he continues to do this). Not too sure about the sog total though i could just be wrong but it felt like he covered EVERY puck that came near his crease whether it was an actual shot, a bounce off the boards or in...
well gentleman we mightve just witnessed the game of the year. Some wacky bounces, an uncharacteristically undiciplined hobart team and i think about 5 lead changes and it ends with an all time gaffe by the Utica goalie. Hobart wins in OT. A game so confusing even the live stats people have the...
With the Yac having a down year last year, and with the NCHA, UCHC, and CNE guarenteed to have multiple bids for the next few years, along with the dissolving of the NEHC, I thought it would be good to have during the non-conference part of the season a weekly roundup discussing how the SUNYAC...
True the biggest factor nowawdays seems to be money. Most acha teams require team dues from the players and those dues are often 4 digits. On the high end I know the oswego men's club hockey team has dues at around 3k per year. The advantage of d3 is you often get to cut line for "academic" and...
Preseason poll just came out and we all know who's #1 but at the bottom of the article it states the sunyac is now a 8 team tournament. No more 1st round byes.
