    The lens I'm looking through is, simply by virtue of a much weaker league, the record will be better and - hopefully - the conference tourney results will be better. I think we'll really see what the trajectory looks like once Dawes/Mattson have time to recruit a full class of "Dawes guys"...

    Definitely faster than the last few years. Fancy is “exciting” because he plays a more physical style than we’re used to; unfortunately he finds himself in the box a bit. Outside of the returners, I’ve enjoyed Stahlbaum and D’Ancona quite a bit thus far.

    I was excited to see Walcarius. I heard he had recovered, and I've always thought he was a very good goaltender. McShane's teams usually had a solid one-two punch in net, so perhaps we can get back to that.
