Ellsworth didn't care about the team relationship with the community. He backed out of almost all of the things the team used to do in town. He was a hermit who hid in the bowels of the arena.
I refuse to accept that the right person can't build relationships with the town/students again and recruit players to play in a packed arena. There's a lot of good players and only so many schools and money ain't everything.
I know others have said they disagree but I love seeing the return of the Tuesday night Midd/Platty games. I also like the return to travel partners after what the NEHC was doing this year. Interesting to see Keene and Western Conn paired together though. I'm too lazy to map out a better plan...
In the alum group Dawes is the most experienced coach hands down. If he's not interested I would love them to get someone else with D3 head coaching experience.
