could you tell me if the name you are hearing is Grzlecyk? I only ask because my son is a defenseman in the USHL and was just offered to come this year (different school). He was going to except, though if Grzlecyk is possible leaving he would be a perfect fit/replacement.

look for BU or Michigan. If he gets it going quick at natl team, it will happen quicker. If slow, proces will slow

Hokydad - didn't want to make this a running conversation in a thread, but I'm curious what you think about Darcy waiting for an opening at BC/BU. Do you believe that Darcy can wait until next year for an opening at BC/BU? Lots to consider in that decision. USHR had a story about him talking to NU (again), UVM and a western school. (Is Michigan the western school? I had heard they had interest in the past.) Without some kind of wink-wink "agreement" with either (both?) BC/BU, how can he string these other schools along until next spring/summer? I've been through the recruiting grinder with my son (football) and I know it can get blurred, but this looks like a situation where the player and schools could both come out looking poorly. it will. Mark Ferner is the best out there. Teaches the kids how to play the game right and no one prepares their players better to walk into D 1 and contribute in all 3 zones, from day one better than him
