Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar. We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.

  • Mr. Wass It is good that Billy still goes to the games for he is a main stay there just like Denny is. I didn't know Fitsgerald was a firefighter like yourself and thanks for all you do. I did 21 years in the US Army Reserves and Retired. One of my old Battalion Commanders, Neil Skow, is a fire Fighter in NYC and he is up there in position last I talked to him.
Since I graduated from Oswego I have followed the teams success/failures and it was alot of fun when I was in Iraq. It gave me something to look forward to and it brought me great joy to read about the success they were having.
As good as these teams are now I would like to see how they would stack up to the awesome teams of the 80's. I think those teams would beat the teams of today because you guys had a greater passion for the game.
Peter my name is Greg Beebe, aka DIIIFan
hey I barely remeber the guys on the team lol but do remeber Dan and a tall blonde guy who I think skated with us once in a while, all did a great job thats for sure...I havent heard to much, I didnt follow oz hockey for a long time until my nephew went to oz he is a jr/sr now but didnt tryout for the team for some reason...I know Fitzgerald is a Buffalo firefighter as I was told he was at ground zero and was looking for me but we never met up as it was a HUGE pile..ok ill be at the Platty weekend for the 3rd yr in a row, also see Ahern each yr as he has season tiks, and Billy the man in the wheelchair is still around I always say hi to him as well........ttyl wass
