    It has been a long time since I last posted but feels good to see people still talking Laker hockey..I have been watching on Flo hockey and what a great way to keep up with it all.

    Not too many people posting on the Lakers thread anymore. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one keeping it going. A few others still post occasionally. The game is changing quite a bit the last several years. It's getting harder to recruit and keep the better players for small public schools like LSSU. We've had some good recruits in the past few years that have been poached away by other higher profile teams, even after committing to the Lakers and signing NLIs. The Portal isn't making things any easier, although it can work both ways on occasion; overall, I don't like the Portal.
