Thanks for the analysis! Info is good, even if it's not so hot.

I apologize for getting the 1970's completely wrong. I made the unpardonable mistake of mixing up St. Lawrence with that OTHER St. Lawrence. Ouch. Paul Patten did coach at this SLU but was really our football head coach; he took over as hockey coach in '47-48, and his '49-50 team was...

The facts definitely show that Brekke is the worst SLU coach. For context, the previous coach who lasted more than just a few years was Paul Patten, coach from 1971-1979. His record was 94-127-5 (8 seasons). Brekke has been coach from 2019-2026, and so far, his record is 61-116-23, (7 seasons...

    But not for Maryville, apparently.

PS Take a look at the ECAC predictive finish for this team. It's pathetic.

I've been following this team since we were the Larries. This team makes the 70's teams look good. Positives? We should have beaten (but didn't) a D3 team? Sorry, but this Larry is embarrassed. What's next? Fire Brekke!

" They are easily the worst roster and team in D1. I disagree with you, they are complete slouches and I'd be shocked if they bank more than 5 wins against D1 teams." Not counting the exhibition, it's one down, four to go.

Oh, sure. We have no need to be embarrassed. Not at all.

Watching that was more painful than . . . pick something!

The roster is set, and Brekke's still the boss. It'll be fun to see how we do against the Saints. Yes, Saints! PS Why can't we give them complete title to Saints, so we can be the Larries again?

Looks like we won't have to wait too long to see what the new men on the team can do with trips to Providence & U Mass Lowell right off the hop. And we'll see how good our Route 11 rivals are on the same weekend--on paper they should be better than us--how both teams play against Providence...

The actual players for next year have been officially announced. I hope (there's that word again) that they are better than meh. We'll see.
