Is this like the movie Ground Hog Day?In honor of Harrison Lodewyk, today is 2 September 2026. There are 29 days until RPI's next game.
This is based upon 2 October 2026 for the start of next season.
This is one of Sezenack's guesses.

I don't see Yurchuk being able to play a 4th line role. I feel like he is a top 6 or bust type, so that would be interestingIt’s way too early and with so many new players I’m sure the coaches will tinker a lot until they find chemistry but this is how I could see the forward lines looking to start. Part what I’m seeing/hearing and part guesswork.
Hadland/Rullers/Tapper
Gavin/Sitar/Buckley
Scherzer/Lindberg/Bono
Goukler/Yurchuk/Ross
I'll be surprised if Lodewyk and Serlin aren't in the lineup, particularly the former. The scouting reports were that Lodwyk plays a complete 200 foot game and he was dominant on face-offs. If he shows those two traits he will absolutely be on the ice, presumably as a bottom six center. It’s way too early and with so many new players I’m sure the coaches will tinker a lot until they find chemistry but this is how I could see the forward lines looking to start. I sure hope so!! They look great compared to last yearsI wonder if the rendering of the sweaters in the roster posting reflects what they will look like.... with black added to the stripes on the home sweaters ? Sort of resembling Carolina Hurricanes sweaters.
Yurchuck and goukler are top 6 and I would put lodewyk and Serlin in the lineup somewhereI don't see Yurchuk being able to play a 4th line role. I feel like he is a top 6 or bust type, so that would be interesting
Don’t forget though, Lindbergh was the only guy to follow Eric from AIC, so that’s telling. Lang must love his style of play. I know that you always have to earn your way into a starting role, but I know from experience that when a coach has a soft spot in his heart for a certain player, you inherently have an advantage, whether public or not.I'll be surprised if Lodewyk and Serlin aren't in the lineup, particularly the former. I like Lindberg and several times thought the level of play I was watching didn't seem to match up with the numbers at the end of the game. However, is he really a third line center on this team? I'm not sure where else he fits so it will be interesting to see if he can deliver the type of results to win that job.
