Still re-working my old ranking of seawolf coaches but here's some teasers, hint it's not the coaches that are the problem:

Worst coach without a doubt is Curley-which is odd because this sweet old couple I saw at the UCHC Cup that are Nanook _ans had nothing but positives to say about him. From a purely wins and losses perspective yes you could rank Shasby second to last, but there should be an asterisk as the college landscape and transfer portal is way harder compared to just Curley's time. Comparing Hill to Shasby, 5 less wins, but 3 fewer losses, way less kissing your sister.

Some anomalies, you take away Brush and Shasby nearly matches the average. You take away the best and worst coach, you again get 10-22-4. Four coaches have nearly the same exact average, give some leeway and you can include Shasby, five coaches for a total of 26 seasons have nearly identical seasons spanning back to the 90's. The problem at UAA is not the head coaches, some go on and win at different levels but win. Include Brush and Thomas after they left, do not include Shyiak-yet. Admittedly I feared nothing would change bringing back the hockey team, and here we are. Back to where we were in the 90's, nothing has changed. To hop off of Shasby's pole, if we had a cupcake third and fourth season things might be different. More wins, more attendance in the Sully that bought tickets, and perhaps a conference?

With the Matthew Mayich situation, Adam Wodon said that “it is not out of the realm of possibilities that ASU cancels their entire season”. Seawolves are scheduled to play them in November. Obviously the current focus is on Matthew and his family, prayers to them.

I’m not a fan of the black jerseys. The green ones aren’t new, and remind me of Mankato’s gray jerseys. White ones are ok

Anything is always possible. Stay tuned for additional facts to come out. My experience is that 85F, relatively low humidity is not that bad. I and many other students worked in 100 F to 115 F, M-F all summer, outdoors, carrying bricks, block, cement, concrete. ASU football games and training are held at 100F - 105F every August through early October. I can't ever recall anyone dying.
