Wisniewski out at Ohio State

If you know you know
People will often say "you can't prove a negative". But that is certainly NOT the case. Math logicians do it all the time.

The way to prove a negative is to assume the 'positive' is true, and let that lead to a contradiction.

So, let's assume that Wisniewski has indeed resigned his position a month ago.

Seems to me that that would mean by now, Muzerall would be actively looking for his replacement. I mean, we're only maybe seven or eight weeks away from the team beginning "coach's practices", and ten weeks or so from actual games being played. And with Ohio State being a public university, there would have to be a public "job opening" posted before Muzzy could hire anyone (even if the posting is just done for "show"). And beat writers tend to notice such things; can you imagine Wisconsin coach Dan Koch leaving Wisconsin, MJ posting a job opening, and Todd Milewski NOT noticing?

BuckyB wants us to believe that either Muz has not yet started looking for his replacement, or that nobody in Ohio has noticed the job being posted, and nobody 'under consideration' has let the news slip out into the public. AND that there is no news about Wisnieski interviewing for or taking some other job.

Really? LOL

(OSU is looking for an assistant men's Lacrosse coach, though. In case anyone is interested.)

I had heard he submitted his resignation but Muzzy refused to accept so he's staying.

Everything you have said is true. However, I don't think that tOSU has a Todd Milewski equivalent on the women's hockey front (not that other programs do either). Well, BC has TTT, but look where that gets him.

If there were a job posting for the OSU team, Milewski himself would probably catch it. LOL

It would be funny if it was true because that is a Muzzy type of thing, but if someone wants out, you can't force them to stay, in a capitalist economical system anyway. Would they be 100% all in if they wanted to quit 2 months ago? Would you trust them? Wouldn't they just be looking for another opportunity to leave? When I had people working for me, I never asked someone to stay who gave their 2 weeks notice. That person is not all in and I probably have to give into some sort of demand they had, which as all sorts of long term implications.

Haase would catch it too. I'm sure they are always keeping tabs on the big 3, or is it big 2 until the 3rd of the old big 3 does something to prove they belong in the big 3?
Without wanting to sound like I'm saying anything bad—I met both of them years ago and had at least one good conversation with each—my first clicks when it comes to Minnesota's breaking news would not go to them, except if it was a quote from a press conference.

Does the women's team have a devoted beat writer in the the rodentapolis metroplex?

SO like you thought I was serious?
