I would say St. Lawrence. They’ll already get a big crowd for Quinnipiac being senior night (even though they don’t have too many seniors).RPI Instagram post of league schedule

Anyone want to guess Freakout date?
The chart I posted was from the site for RPI hockey archives - if it is incorrect about a year that could be but the overall conclusion has to be considered the same. Sez, what is our conference won lost record overall since 2001? What is our overall won lost record since 2001? How do those number compare with RPI hockey history? i just got a little tired of all the excuses made for the coaching over the past 25 years (and BTW, even worse for the girls' program.I don't think what you said is accurate. We finished 2nd under Seth once, and finished 4th under Dave in 2020
The past 25 years have been bad no doubt, but Fridgen was a good coach, Appert has had some success since leaving RPI, and Smith had brought up a Canisius program that was renting ice time from a D3 program to an NCAA tournament (where they almost upset Quinnipiac) and a conference regular season title. I don't think any of them all of a sudden were bad coaches here. Far from perfect with plenty of mistakes, yes. But take a look at who became in charge just before 25 years ago. I don't think you can really call it a coincidence. The chart I posted was from the site for RPI hockey archives - if it is incorrect about a year that could be but the overall conclusion has to be considered the same. Sez- you just summed up my entire point better than I could have. It was no coincidence that we had an almost complete collapse of the entire program starting about 25 years ago. We may not have always been a top contender but we were very rarely the doormat and every so often we showed signs of being the Beast of the East. The landscape for all of college hockey has changed so much in those 25 years that it is hard to even recognize. But I am optimistic, perhaps for the first time in 2 decades, that we have entered a recovery period brought about by much needed new leadership both in the program and overall at the Institution. It's fair to view it as excuses but the reality is the program was never supported as much as it needed to be to cultivate success

I actually wondered if Glens Falls could be a temporary home for RPI if they elected to build a new HFH due to the hockey support up there. I think this will work out really well for a one-off game.gonna be great sold out house every seat with airhorn unlike albany
I am interested to see how that trade-off works. The Mayor's Cup atmosphere has been a little uneven for me at MVP lately.Disney on ice is to blame. It will be a raucous sell-out, but far few bodies in attendance due to the building size.
RPI will be the home team for the game. I knew this months ago but was asked not to make anything public until it became official.I am interested to see how that trade-off works. The Mayor's Cup atmosphere has been a little uneven for me at MVP lately.
Was not at either of the previous two Glens Falls versions of this game which were both in the closing years of the previous century. However, as best as I remember, the first one drew "kind of OK" while the second one was a complete dog that didn't draw flies. Unfortunately, neither school's websites has box scores for these games to verify that for certain.I am interested to see how that trade-off works. Relieved that at least it took the likes of Disney On Ice that got Union- RPI tossed to the curb on their ear. Far better and less embarrassing than getting the boot for the likes of a disco nostalgia show "starring" the likes of KC and the Sunshine Band and the Village People. Yes, both of them are still touring.Disney on ice is to blame. It will be a raucous sell-out, but far few bodies in attendance due to the building size.
