UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

Hmm mine went from 370 each to 539, whats that 45% hike or something like that.
Tough for fixed income folks.
My seats class for advanced single game purchase went from 33 to 76 per - 43 $ increase.
We are now paying players looks like.

Going to need better on ice play than this year to sustain that jump.

Season Ticket Holder emails went out. I see the new pricing and maps have been posted.
We don't yet know the schedule, so a per game price is not yet available.

Highlights from the email:

Renewal begins 14 April and will conclude 15 May.
Relocation will begin 27 May and conclude 5 June.
There is a cap of six seats per account. If you currently have >6 they will be in touch to discuss options.
Current STH will not be able to add new seats to their account (ouch).
A new designation of "premium" games (think Boston College, Providence etc) will be introduced and will have everyone's favorite: dynamic pricing!

Had a feeling I wouldn't get as lucky as last season ($261 to $270 per seat), but $307 is still better than I anticipated so I'm okay with it.

Doesn't affect me, but I don't really like the 6 seat maximum. If they're that concerned with getting through the wait list they should probably stop entertaining half-season packages with demand for tickets as high as it has been.

I was hoping to go from 3 seats to 4 but that's not going to happen now. With a 34% price increase I may cut back from 3 to 2. Help them get through that waiting list faster ;)

Hey….I’ve got half season tix buddy!😉 I agree with you though as long as they grandfather the people that have them…or offer them the first opportunity to buy a full season.

I wonder if they have ever thought of hosting a game at Alfond Stadium? They could probably squeeze in close to 10K. Might be something to consider down the road after Morse Arena is completed and the Pine Club opens. Seems like it could be a huge money maker.

Should of built a new complex with a 6k seat rink and bball field house next to each other .
😂

Well if they can put a much better team on the ice the ticket prices will hold and could go up in future years.
Just look back 5 to10 years when you couldn't give tickets away and they cut the seat prices.

Wonder what teams like ND, denver, duluth
, big 10 get for seat prices. Bc and bu have been reasonable, or at least last time i was there.

Using really rough math, an additional 5,000 tickets at $30 each provides $150,000 to rent and operate the equipment for an outdoor rink. I'm not in that market, but I have a hard time thinking that would be enough.

BC in particular has really reasonable ticket prices, and parking is free there too. I guess thats the strength of Power Conference football.

If the cost to host an outdoor game wasn't pushing $1M I think any of us would love to see it happen, but can't imagine that would be feasible under any circumstances.

My tickets are now 4370 for the pair. They didnt go up a ton on club. The single game tickets went through the roof for club from 110 to 261.

I imagine they aren't gouging club yet because the bathrooms haven't been renovated since 20 years ago and the whole area is dated compared to the rest of the arena. Going to try and confirm if they are refurbishing it this summer finally. The food was also subpar for the price but hey you can get free alcohol

They also email protected the seat map now

Big 10 wins in Football, no surprise as they are around the top every year. Now the Big10 wins in BBall. All the starters on Michigan bball were transfers, can you say NIL? Does the Big10 win in Hockey? Certainly won't shock me but Go North Dakota :)
