RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

Early line on next week's game is Clarkson is a 1+ goal favorite at home. Given the final league standings and overall records makes perfect sense with home advantage included. Hopefully RPI's play and record for February ameliorates that advantage.

Very pleased with the season. Coach Lang has totally changed the culture. The grit and determination of this group is off the charts. Great job Eric. Eric is the right guy for this rebuild.

Also forgotten is that we have not won 3 consecutive ECAC games in a row since the end of the 2020 season when we got cancelled out from a probable trip to lake Placid. That was the end of February also - we were becoming a really tough team to beat at that stage. Hope there is enough similarity in this team to that one.

9th place. Lots of credit to Lang & co. I think Clarkson is a tough draw as it is a long trip and hard to beat a team 3 times in one season, but hard to be disappointed with year 1.
Agree on all fronts. CCT appears to have righted their ship of late, after a very roller coaster regular season. I saw them play Friday night in a win at Colgate. Their keeper gave up a fair amount of juicy rebounds that Gate couldn't capitalize on.....but he shut the door in the 3rd when Gate was pressing.

At this point, RPI is playing with house money.... go get 'em boys !!!!

Klassek won ECAC Defender of the Week and Krawchuk ECAC Goalie of the Week.
