WCHA Tournament

Not only were the 'game tracker' pages stuck at the beginning of overtime yesterday (while at the Wisconsin-Bemidji game, I learned who had won in Duluth from the two teams' twitter accounts), as of this morning, none of the game's stats are reflected in the stats page at the WCHA web site, or at the two teams' web pages. And no box score at the teams' pages. Weird ...
Everyone dropped dead…. Duluth from stunning sadness and Mankato from stunning elation

We were "gallows" joking at the Badger game that the game in Duluth had been suspended due to Iranian rocket attacks in the Duluth/Superior area.

I wasn't sure who had won so I went onto btn+ and fast forwarded and watched the last 5 minutes.

I would have, but I knew my sister was logged on to my BTN-Plus account, watching Wisconsin (don't tell the BTN people!)
The bigten+ website states to avoid suspension or cancelation, not to log in at more than 3 IP addresses in a 3 hour period. My granddaughter likes to watch games so I have often gone to her house and log in to watch, while my wife is at home watching.

UMD upset. I assume that puts them outside of NCAAs. I don’t want the Badgers to see them
That still likely depends on how Cornell and Yale and Princeton do in the ECAC tournament. And if Mercyhust can knock off Penn State in their tournament. Duluth is definitely 'on the bubble' now, but might still hang on to be the #10 seed.

I don't think anyone shows up at amziol regularly, but ridder being a ghost town is truly shocking.
Ridder has more people today than Amzoil but still basically empty. I'd expect Eeyore or Crazy Dave to be there no matter what but where is the Gopher so called faithful? If your team has been struggling those girls on the ice really need the emotional support of their fans. I just can't believe they got pissy and bailed!

My defense is I live in New England.

Based on what we've seen from European players in past years returning from the Olympics, don't expect those who competed for medals to be at their usual level during the WCHA Tournament. Some are able to bounce back and regain their form by the NCAA Tournament, but the emotional tank is pretty empty after the Olympics. I'm guessing that the NHL and PWHL players will also take a couple of weeks to settle into their groove.
I respectfully disagree. I can't say I saw any lagging from Ohio State's Olympians. Total from both games was 6 goals and 8 assists. It could have been higher but Raunio went out Friday with an injury and did not play Saturday.

OSU is a bizarre outlier. Kudos to them. But it’s early….. recall Thiele help carry OSU across the line in 2022 and not Brandli. Which is not to disparage Brandli who helped get them there and elevated the program
