Ryan Shaw committed to RIT.

Makes sense playing in Rochester. A little surprised lang didn’t keep him. Although Ryan could have backed out of the commitment as well. He’s a good player

Meh the NAHL is a weak league and it's only worse now with the CHL. Ryan did not back out of it. I'm not sure if Dave had already cut him or if it was Lang cutting him though

Well he’s good enough to go to RIT which is a better program and team than RPI? With a brand new coach

They play in the worst conference, it's really not difficult to be better than RPI in the Atlantic. I don't see how the brand new coach is relevant. Wayne Wilson retired with an already built up program; Lang has a rebuild.

Which forward recruit are you taking him over for next year? There's not a single one for me. What do you think his numbers would be in the USHL or CHL? I think his production would be at around 1/3 of what it is right now, which isn't good enough to bring in. He's a 21 year old 5'9 forward who was mediocre in a weak league in the NAHL last year, and struggled in an average league in the BCHL. He's only now breaking out in the NAHL now. I think he's good enough to play D1, but there's a difference between a D1 player and a winning D1 player as Lang said. He's rated 3.5 stars for a reason. All of our recruits for next year are 3.75 or higher. Why take him?

Ok? I’m not taking him over anyone? I’m just saying he would be a nice addition. Yea he plays in a weaker league however he’s averaging almost 2 points a game. He wasn’t given a fair shake in the bchl but he did produce nonetheless. The current recruits we have are the best we have in a long time which is great. RIT shouldn’t be in Atlantic they belong in a stronger conference. RIT has also beaten some really good teams this year like they do every year. My point was if he can make that team he can make RPI.

On Friday, the Kamloops Blazers lost to the Kelowna Rockets 3-2 in overtime. Josh Evaschesen had 2 assists. 3 SOGs. He was named the #2 Star. Ryan Michael had no points or penalties. https://chl.ca/whl/gamecentre/1022750/

Evaschesen's line is now 55-28-34-62-31.
Michael's line is now 55-3-26-29-31
JE’s assists are on the 2nd and 3rd pages. https://www.instagram.com/p/DVAelmeEchg/?img_index=2

Interesting that JE got a higher star than the player who scored both Kamloops goals.

Edit: The two plays are consecutive starting at 3:04 of the embedded video.
