Whose your front runner? Anybody know how the Wednesday play in game affects the tourney? Also, what is the tourney set up?

I'm assuming the play in game will be the last two teams for the 4th seed, then the tourney will start with the #1 team getting a bye. Predicting UAA beating Stonehill and then playing UA_, with Dimitry in the lineup we have a chance.

It has been a pain to find info about the format for this tourney. As far as I know, there is no game on Wednesday. It is strictly Thursday-Saturday. If a team had an additional play in game and continued winning that would be 4 games and they would be over their limit as this tournament counts against the regular season schedule. According to Jason Coomer at Lindenwood the #1 seed will get a bye on Thursday and the #2 team will get a bye on Friday. Lose twice and you are done. Lose once and the best you can do is play for 3rd place.
But then again nothing has been made official about the bracket so it could be way off.

Lindenwood is my front runner based on how they can score. Weakness is goaltending but they can outscore their problems often. The injection of talent from their CHL commits has worked out great, particularly the USports transfer sophomore Fs Giovanni Morneau, Charles Savoie, and junior D Nolan Seed. Morneau and Savoie are the only players on the independents with above a point per game and Seed leads the team in TOI. They’re also getting contributions from freshmen forwards Olivier Houde, Jacob Fletcher, and LP Fontaine. I’ve been very impressed whenever i get a chance to watch them. Keith Fisher is a great coach and has gotten impressive results. They’ve been able to surprise a few teams- a very good Miami needed OT twice to beat them, they won that DU game, even in their losses to UMD they got to one of the best goalies in Adam Gajan.

LIU is the closest in terms of scoring ability and Lassi Lehti can steal games for the Nanooks, so they’re my other two to watch out for. Lindenwood has been vulnerable to a hot goalie- see Canisius G Petter Wickström Stumer on January 3, where Lindenwood put up 75!!!! shots and lost 3-4. xG was 3.5 for Canisius and an eye watering 7.7 for Lindenwood.

Thanks!

Yeah I'm a little concerned how many tickets will be bought, I saw when I bought tickets I was in GA seat 12 for one of the days-and that was the highest number, this was a few weeks ago. Buying tickets was a pain, and there should be an all tourney pass.
