BU Hockey '25-'26: Can we keep up the run to Vegas?

Our video must be the worst in HE. It’s choppy and seems like lower resolution than any of the away games. Can BU invest in some better cameras and servers?

It struck me sitting at the game tonight that we're two-thirds in and, if this team has ANY defining characteristic, it's "sloppy." Lazy drop passes, too many intercepted stretch passes, poor shot selection. All this talent and they're simply no fun to watch.

Is anyone else concerned about this coaching staff's ability to evaluate players? It's one thing to miss on a couple players, but they've brought in 7-8 players this season who clearly aren't ready for college hockey from either a physical or production standpoint. (including one they gave a scholarship to play the 2nd half of the season in the USHL)
This is more on the staff than the players

Was anyone else questioning why no one checked on Yegorov, after he was hit in the head? He went down and it took awhile for him to get back to his feet.

The Providence player, Mustard, was given a 5 minute major and a Game Misconduct for Contact to the Head. Yet, no coaches, trainers, referees or "spotters" went over to him. This was concerning to me.

It's like Albie is coaching the team again. Stupid sloppy plays and repeating the same mistakes. This teams sucks donkey balls and the coaches aren't any better.
Great analogy. Didn’t think with Jay we would have to go through this again. He even helped when he came aboard as an assistant. I think sometimes certain groups of players together just don’t perform chemistry wise. I also agree with the point some of the freshman are having difficulty adjusting to the college game, especially on defense early in the season. Lawrence looks promising…

I just have to ask, “what will it take to sit Boumedienne?”. I may have mentioned he was a turnover machine in the first half of the season and he had two BRUTAL turnovers this weekend that led to decisive goals and some he got lucky on that didn’t. This isn’t mites you don’t get guaranteed time just because you’re on the team. Are the other options worse?

Sooo, the Patriots are going to the Super Bowl. And playing Seattle. Like they did in 2015. Remember what else happened in 2015? Weekly 1-2' of snow that caused delays in the Beanpot. I know we're a week out but I did see a weather account talk about another major storm next weekend. Will it happen again? Who knows. I did check the schedule at the Garden and both Feb 3 and Feb 10 are available should we see the same pattern. But given we don't have a team like 2015, I'd be inclined to stay home.

I can't even talk about Saturday. It's so bad, I may not even make the effort to go this Friday,
