Think the refs realized it, because they decided not to call three obvious trips on Lowell and then put Langlois in the box on an obvious dive
 
Barr did not sound very happy in the post-game interview, but they gutted out a road win.

They played with fire for sure but gutted out a road win. Looked ugly all night honestly. Not sure how many blocked shots they had but felt like a bunch, really helped Boija out.
 
Solid and much needed win. Penalties have to be addressed but really liked what I saw from James and Peluso. Speculation from commentators about nadeau seemed odd as Demitri said illness. Little irresponsible in my opinion considering that game was on nesn.

Focus should be on trying to make their way into the top 4 in Hockey East. Let go of this dream of an at large bid and give yourself the best chance at winning the HE tourney.
 
I was there, generally was a solid game that you can't complain about the outcome of. Nice to see Dr Jeykll show up tonight; hopefully he gets an encode and Mr Hyde stays at home tomorrow.
 
I wasn’t watching that closely but seemed like a solid enough performance. Maine rode their luck to some degree but good on them for taking advantage of it. With all that being said if you need the rub of the green to beat a team that’s 50 in NPI it probably isn’t a great sign.

It’s odd to read that there are multiple theories around what’s going on with Nadeau. Hopefully he is back next weekend.

Yeah and one was a hit from behind head first into the boards by Pichette. Undisciplined and uncalled for. I think he got hit hard in the corner and took the guys number and chased him from behind and did that. It could have been a major.

Another was a leg check by Russell. Again an uncalled for hit. Another that could have been challenged for a major.

Not sure either would have been a major but the fact Bazin didn’t challenge either was odd. Seems like he has a lot less passion than he once had.
