College Football 2025

Go figure. Cristobal is what's in the dictionary under "Coach making bad late game clock decisions" and he's in the title game.

Thankfully the hot takes are few and far between from this game. Much more sentiment towards Indiana Good versus Oregon Bad.
Saw a vid where people are accusing IU of cheating. Probably from sec people who are mad that iu is doing it better than they are.

I have seen more than one mention why it is so hard for DeBore, since all of the other schools can do what bama and Saban have been doing. Some quickly backtrack that bama loads up on massive talent taking them all away from others.

The excuses are coming hard and fast for the sec schools. They have been on a decline for years, even when matched against lower teams. But somehow they are the best top to bottom….

Anyway, go iu.

I'd like to see Miami win tonight; knock off the top dog. But, if Indiana wins it's won't hurt my feelings. I've watched their games since they beat Oh10 St and they've been impressive.

5% of the wins in their program’s history have come in the last two years…and Indiana football has been around since 1887. Indiana’s the ultimate ‘dog, dawg.

Woo hoo! IU tried to throw it away…twice, but they didn’t. That fucking false start penalty on 2nd-and-1 I swear to god…but the Mendoza TD RUN! And Cignetti is going to have a fucking beer, lol.
The worst college football program of all time has won the national title. The doomsday clock might as well hit midnight.

From what I saw on SC it looked to be a pretty good game. Was footballed out after the weekend so it was a couple episodes of Antiques Roadshow then bed. Hats off to the Hoosiers.

Nothing like leading with the crown to the chin of the QB and it not being called.
Finally saw that play- it was way worse than the roughing the passer that Indiana late in the game. The defender saw that Mendoza didn't have the ball, and still lead with his helmet into his chin. Given the announcers mentioning that they were instructed to hit Mendoza as much as possible, that was very intentional. Should have been ejected for that.

Also, listening to SC this morning, it's still kind of giving more credit to Miami getting better than Indiana in the second half. Except that Indiana outscored Miami in the second half to win the game.... what? At least someone last night mentioned how IU was able to counter punch every time Miami scored.

Looking back on it- it would have been sweet to have IU kneel it down after getting that first down. But it was slightly sweeter to prevent Miami to have their "Hollywood" ending. And yes, that term was used- as if IU's win isn't a much, much better movie. Literally worst college football program of all time to NC is a way better story than Miami winning again.
