Here are the goals lost and goals remaining for the top 3 WCHA teams.

Ohio State loses 55 goals and has 47 remaining.

Minnesota loses 46 and has 46 remaining

Wisconsin lose 39 goals and has 76 remaing.

Combine the lost goals with the amount of time those players are on the ice in a game and 2 of the 3 will be really hurting.

St. Cloud loses quite a few European players and almost all of their goal scoring but overall they don’t score much anyway.

Have all the Olympic rosters been announced, or are you just assuming certain players are 'locks'? For example, (I don't pay that much attention, but) is it for certain that Primerano will be on the Canadian team?

(Also, looking at the WCHA standings page, I think you have the goal totals for Ohio and Minnesota reversed.)

Primerano is a lock… the numbers are the goals scored by players leaving and the goals scored by the players staying during the Olympic break

Yes, and you have Minnesota with a total of 92 goals and Ohio State a total of 102 goals; the standings page at the WCHA web site has the reverse. Ohio with 92, and Minnesota with 102.

Have all the rosters been announced?

You are not understanding the post…
The goals are what have been scored by the players leaving for the Olympics thus far in the season and the goals scored by the remaining players , those that won’t be leaving for the Olympics so far this season.
The rosters are known… not all made public yet though.

I FULLY understand what you have written.

You have the numbers reversed. Ohio State has not scored "55 goals and 47 goals", Minnesota has. Minnesota has not scored "46 and 46", Ohio State has. You have the numbers for Minnesota and Ohio State reversed.

And you are privy to this private information from multiple counties? Yeah, OK, sure. LOL

I'd like to know the points lost because assists are also important.

You should respect St. Cloud and include them.

WI's goals lost is skewed from the true impact because both missed Edwards and Simms missed a lot of time injured and Edwards was also dorking around playing D, which suppressed her scoring as well. If both were healthy all year and playing the right position, UW would have the most goals lost. I am however very excited to see the goals remaining is so stacked for UW. Maybe this year we can break the Olympic curse and get some hardware in an Olympic year.

Ohio State loses 113 keeps 111
Wisconsin loses 119 keeps 196

Bottom line is by numbers Buckeyes hurt the most Gophers second and Wisconsin seems to be ok

The Minnesota stats page at their web site shows they have registered a total of 277 total points this year. Your numbers only account for 254 points.

Murphy 43 points, Bouveng 29, Plosova 12, Laitinen 22, Primerano 14. That's a total of 120, assuming those players head off to the Olympics. 120 away, 157 remaining.

(The totals for the other two teams are correct, per their web sites.)
