Wisconsin Women's Hockey 2025-2026

The yuckers brought out the Darth Vader uniforms...How did that work out for them?
I got to watch a crappy video feed in a crappy rink... Is it asking too much to at least get a competent person running the camera?
The yuckers go down to defeat against the sinners...What is the over/under on the muzzinator using a certain 4 letter colorful metaphor?

I don't think she knows how things ended for poor Darth. The good inside of her will come forth at her next stop.

This video feed was Academy Award quality compared to the Smashville one from last weekend. The camera in the rink last night could zoom in and out. Amazing!

The ladies played very well last night. I knew they had it in them. I'm amazed UW got so many sog in the game, the Vaderettes were seemingly smothering in their d zone.
 
There are cupcakes, and then there are cupcakes. It would be interesting to hear from the players on both sides what the experience of a game like this felt like, both during and after. I understand the spread-the-women’s-game gospel coming from on high, but what is it like for those on the ice to have the game “grown” on their backs? Smashville indeed.

It probably didn’t feel good, but the Stonehill players are beneficiaries of grow the game of years past. They have a 7 team league they play in with parity I think, and they get to play Wisconsin. I think it’s all good.
 
Nice two assists from Edwards. There was a foolish post on here where someone said “she’s not a D she’s barely a forward. “

She’s extremely legit! Love watching her.

They won like 6-0 last night and Mercyhurst won 10-1. Good on both of them.

Yes! Glad to hear it. Knew the Hurst score, didn’t know for Stonehill. Growing sports, nurturing them, keeping it all going is tough. Lots of imperfect situations, but I tell myself love the game, do your best and keep going…. As I navigate the youth scenes with my kids.

I looked just now for offsides, because they had the regular linesman at OSU games Iffland in for the challenge review, and it was nowhere at all close to offsides. So I have no idea. I was not listening to Badger radio; maybe Greenie saw something, or he'll find out in the locker room between periods.

Apparently the first review was to see if the puck crossed the line which it did. The second review was for goalie interference which they're saying was the case. I guess only a coach can challenge for goalie interference.

We're going to have our fifth fifth occurrence of of four and four hockey to start the second. Very unusual for the victims to get penalties LOL.
 
There must be something I don't understand about "goalie interference". How can a single offensive player skating with the puck into the blue ice commit "interference"? She had the puck when she entered the blue ice!

They disallowed one of their goals under the same circumstances, neither of which I agree with.
