Yup, the sweep was the important thing. A nice come back in the 3rd period to avoid a disastrous loss.
No idea what the status is with of Diego Buttazzoni. I assume he didn't make the trip.
During the pregame interview with John Leahy, the Mercyhurst coach said the Lakers will visit Lowell during the 2027-28 season.
According to the box score, attendance was 609 for Friday and 207 for Saturday.
Any thoughts from anyone who made the trip?
 
Glad we got the sweep. I can honestly say I expected a split because we've seen enough of this program to know that no matter who's on the roster, they play down to certain teams. So I was extremely pleased to see that comeback on Saturday night.
 
This iteration of the River Hawks looks more like the 23-24 team than the 24-25 one. Trying to stay optimistic, but the same problems are repeating themselves. How many times do all five guys have to get caught puck watching or forwards have to get beat to their checks getting back before we see better attention to detail? And right now it doesn't look like our goalies will be stealing any games.
 
I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn’t mind as much if they could also score, but seems like that won’t be happening again this season.
