Stupid people only need to look at the numbers in those countries(other than Sweden, who are pretty much doing what we're doing) to know the answer to whatever question they think they're asking.

Here's a hint. They have about as many total cases as Florida has in a day.

If it saves lives then namaste. Hannity is a first order tool who will spend eternity licking pustules on Satan's anus, but if he changes then maybe one fewer Dumpy will spread his filth and your own loved ones will be safer for it.

I actually think it’s a pretty big deal and shows the tide is turning. McConnell advocating for masks today as well.

46k new cases...good thing it disappeared or we might be in some serious trouble.

Also passed 130k deaths...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) vetoed the budget for a package of online education programs that have played key roles for students and educators during the coronavirus pandemic.

DeSantis’s veto, issued Monday, killed the $29.4 million budget for the Complete Florida Plus Program, which provides online platforms that have become more prominent as students and teachers adopt distance learning. Among other programs, the veto will scrap a database of online courses and an online library service.

Over 2,000 adult students could lose their scholarships, and roughly 150 employees in Tallahassee, Gainesville and Pensacola could lose their jobs, according to Politico.

Complete Florida will go offline at midnight without any new sources of funding, meaning that library databases, among other tools, would become unavailable in the middle of the college summer semester.

Oh no a bunch of 20 somethings are the largest group testing positive now. Exhibiting mild cold like symptoms and fine with in a day or two. Oh boy, shut down the world.

Hovering around 50% of the deaths in LTC facilities.

Deaths are going down significantly.

I'm in no position to argue their estimate is accurate or not, but even if it's off by 50% holy s**t:

A National Mask Mandate Could Save The U.S. Economy $1 Trillion, Goldman Sachs Says

Goldman’s analysts found that wearing face coverings has a significant impact on coronavirus outcomes, and they suggest that a federal mask mandate would “meaningfully” increase mask usage across the country, especially in states like Florida and Texas, where masks are not currently required.

The researchers estimate that a national mandate would increase the portion of people wearing masks by 15 percentage points, and cut the daily growth of new cases by 1.0 percentage point to 0.6%.

Reducing the spread of the virus through mask-wearing, the analysts found, could be a substitute for strict lockdown measures that would otherwise shave 5%—or $1 trillion—off the U.S. GDP.

Lt Gov of TX went on Laura Ingram’s show last night and tore into Fauci. In one clip it shows everything wrong with the modern Republican Party.

Interesting that the timing of this post was just after Kep’s model link. So one can quickly look at the predictions if less is done.

The sad part right now is that the immediate risk is to the poor and minorities. It will take a little more effort to impact the r’s of the states. At least hard enough they do anything.
