Nestle, Sony, Phillip Morris, Unilever, P&G, and Caterpillar were all still doing business with Russia until today.

Forget the State. Smash the Fortune 500.

3 M suspended all Russian operations today. Took a very interesting tone in the announcement. Used the active voice, "Russian invasion of Ukraine."

Which... was surprising.

I wonder if you do that to suck up to the successor regime?

Bahahaha a former employee at my company is starting class action on how shitty our 401k options are (all Wells Fargo target date funds which have underperformed).

today I got email saying we’re moving to vanguard target date funds and I’m not complaining . Now I want them to kick in cash for all the years I’ve been stuck in these shit funds

A computer creates it, a computer can track it. It's laughable.

It's more than that, Scoob. It's literally publicly traceable. Imagine that for a dollar bill to be traded, you have to put your social security number on it. That's how crypto works.

Now, instead of a SS#, they use a wallet ID.

Do you have a separate retirement option? Our company provides something from Schwab that basically is a brokerage within the 401(k). It's relatively expensive at $10/month (so a 0.01% fee if you had $1,200,000 invested) on top of any fees the funds charge. So if you had enough cash, you could get out of the shitty 401(k) funds and into Vanguard or Fidelity.

I serve on our retirement committee and we do so much work to be sure there is no way we can be sued for the options. Luckily it is an extremely well run program and has great options.

We actually vetoed having environmental friendly funds as they would violate our fiduciary responsibility to the employees and enforcement is at the whim of the what the current administration feels. Our lawyers cautioned against it due to...concerns for political change in the future.

This world is fucked...

I mean we are brokered through fidelity but they just chose crap funds for us. I don’t think we had option to ditch the selected funds . But now we’re all automatically being moved into vanguard target date funds so that’s making me happy. There were a small select few vanguard funds that I’m in but have a lot of my 401k in a target fund

My company is also not yet divesting from funds with fossil fuels. I just pump some of my own money into ICLN when I invest in ITOT and IXUS each month in my taxable account

I just don't get it. Fidelity has great fund selections. Why the fuck would they screw over 401(k) options? Insane.

im assuming the shite WF funds were somehow a cost savings.

my company hates spending money

Which is funny given the size of our two companies. Medtronic was the same way too. Just utter fucking garbage funds. I don't get why these companies don't just say, let's give our employees the best and offer vanguard". I don't understand how it costs them anything.
