So he says, regarding a picture of geared up, armed up men, that they "recognize a threat when they see it", but then later goes on to say he'll let his followers know when its time to "gear up, arm up and roll out".

The cognitive dissonance is strong with the wingnuts.

MS inexplicably does the correct thing.

Face with the choice between these two flags, they picked the right one.

It still has the fairy tale reference, but it doesn't look like a lame MLS badge. Way to go, Magnolia Staters.
The one of ht eright is actually quite nice looking.

You must have heard wrong. There's no way that's the case. right..?

Source.

Commissioners will choose a single design next week, and that will go on the Nov. 3 ballot for voters to accept or reject.

By law, the old flag with the Confederate battle emblem is not an option, and the replacement cannot have the emblem that's widely condemned as racist. Legislators also mandated that the new flag include the phrase, "In God We Trust."

Each of the final designs contains a single star made of diamond shapes to represent the Native American people who lived in Mississippi before others arrived. The magnolia design has 21 stars, with one representing the Choctaws, Chickasaws and other tribes, and the others representing Mississippi as the 20th state.

I was floored, too. They musta let one of them college lez-beans in the room.

Well they also had racial justice marches at Ole Miss...a University that not long ago was famous for fake lynchings and shouting "The South Shall Rise Again". The educated are finally figuring out how to play the game correctly.

Republicans have been ramping up one of their all-time favorite narratives - that all of America's failing/failed cities are run by Democrats.

How about all of America's failing/failed small towns? Who is taking those Republican mayors/supervisors and council members to task for letting the local economy wither and die to the point that the youths move away and never return?

Those cities also all have public transit. Maybe the public transit caused all of the problems.
I bet they all also have at least 10 Starbucks. Maybe having at least 10 Starbucks causes all of the problems.

Or maybe to anyone with a high school education CORRELATION IS NOT CAUSATION.

Did you know, the more cheese you eat, the more likely you are to die by entanglement in bedsheets? I LOVE spurious correlations

And in this case it's not even causation, since normalized (per capita) there is more crime of all types in rural American than urban.
