Should we expect B1G+ to have the frozen four games since Duluth is hosting?

No.

ESPN has the rights to the Frozen Four. As I said earlier, my credit card statement tells me that last year I had to sign up for a month of ESPN-Plus just to see one or both of the semis. Looking at the upcoming schedule at the ESPN web site, it shows the semis as being only on ESPN-Plus this year, the final on ESPNU. (It also shows that ESPNU will show replays of the semis on the Sunday morning of the final, at 5:30 and 8 AM. So if you can just avoid hearing the scores, you can watch as if they were live :-)

In 2021 the final was on ESPNU (I have a copy of much but not all of the game; ESPN does crazy things to keep one from doing any video capture of their streams.). ESPN had the semis as well, I don't recall if they were on broadcast or only streamed.

The slaughter has begun. Wisco 3 LIU 0 after 1. I think LIU may have had one shot on goal. Wisco had 21 SOG and it seemed like 100 total shots.

Do they always turn the house lights on and put a spotlight on the goal scorer at Colgate? Lol. That period went about how I hoped it would. With all due respect to LIU, they do not belong on the same ice as Wisconsin. The only question in doubt seems to be whether or not Wisconsin will get to 10 goals on the evening.

One good shot from the blue line that Kronish smothered in her stomach, and another credited, so 21-2.

Fixed your post. Only for Colgate's goals. Wisconsin will not be getting that treatment Saturday. ;-)

I wouldn't be so sure about that. It's been a few years since I've been to a quarterfinal tournament game at LaBahn, but I seem to recall them sounding the horn for visiting team goals. I think they might have a rule where they have to blow the horn for all goals at tournament games.

I think this is the case too.

Had lots of fun. Last time I saw a Wisconsin hockey game in person was in 1992 at the (Men's) National Championship game in Albany where Wisconsin lost in the 3rd period. (Some might say had the game stolen from them...). I did get Mike Leckrone's autograph on my program, however!

Anyway.....tonight's final was 9-1 with shots on goal 58-7.

So cool. How many other Badger fans were there?

I wonder if having played yesterday will work to Wisconsin's advantage tomorrow. I know that college hockey teams go a week between games all the time, but still I wonder if Colgate might come out rusty in comparison. We'll see.

KRACH ratings numbers imply that if Colgate and Wisconsin played 40 times, Colgate would win 21 times and Wisconsin would win 19 times. That's... uhh... fairly even. :-)

Others have said it, but NCAA rules dictate that you have to apply the same goal celebration to both teams during an NCAA game. So either both teams get horns and lights and the whole nine yards, or you have to eliminate it.

One of Colgate's better players is Dara Greig, the former Badger. 20 goals on the season and the 5th leading overall scorer. I'm sure she will be motivated against her former teammates.
