Does anyone under the age of 60 use the term "cyber" for anything anymore? I feel like that's a deprecated term that's still used exclusively by older people. Like "vaporare".

I think it's pretty telling that the GOP is gonna pivot away from the MAGA stuff. We haven't heard one bit about the integrity of the election and people are starting to comment on how toxic Dumpy was to the GOP cause.

They talked like that the days after 1/6 too. Wake me up when Trump doesn't throw his name in the ring. He'll beat down DeSantis like he's another Jeb and they'll suckle up to the trough again.

Just you wait. Some Rs, particularly those in more educated suburbs of northern cities, may now be emboldened to try and extricate themselves from MAGA and align with Ivy League DeSantis. However, Trump and MAGA have already shown that they aren't going to let go without a fight and I don't think DeSantis has enough cachet outside of Florida to go national.
 
Yeah, one of the long lasting effects of Trump and Trumpism is the acceptance of the extreme. DeSantis is flanking Trump and going after him on vaccines, lockdowns, etc. He's as charismatic as overcooked pasta, but Trump showed us all that being a bully can be successful, so I am not surprised that the party is embracing this and ditching the W philosophy of "compassionate conservatism" (yes, I know it wasn't remotely compassionate).

I'm not saying I'm gonna embrace conservatism.

This is a massive opportunity for the D's. Anyone that backs Dumpy is latched to Dumpy. They ain't switching their candidate. Which is why he will never back down. He will have at least some Stans in his corner.

This is dark, but Dumpy is the drowning person who is struggling to stay afloat and he very well could possibly take down the person who is trying to save him (DeSantis).
 
The Ivy League is no better than the MAGA League. Cruz/Desantis/Hawley are just as dangerous as any MAGA. They even have the Oxford Boy in their corner.

I think everyone on this board knows that Dump's degree was bought and paid for, and might as well be printed on toilet paper. I'm assuming Cruz, Hawley, and DeSantis may or may not have been admitted on academic merit, but at least did their own work and took their own exams.
