The GQP Thread: I'm even sick of that fuck's number and, anyway, he's gone (for now)

Even more ridiculous is the fact the R in charge of the hearings, according to one article I found, said he isn't even going to bring any more confirmation hearings to the senate to vote on.

These fucking hacks were more concerned about finding every broken law to stay in control than they were ever concerned about doing their fucking jobs.

And them people like Joe and Sic have the gall to claim their side are the ones being productive.

Politics is exactly like driving a car: To go forward, D. To go backwards, R.

Yep. First Wisconsin stripped powers from Evers after he won, now they basically blocked him from doing his job and replacing the members. And there is nothing that can be done as long as the paint thinner drinkers keep electing GOPers for the Leg.

Destroying democracy isn't a bug for conservatives, it's a feature.

They were never happy with the move away from Priest Tyrants, and they have been trying to fight their way back to that ever since. They are wired to bow and pray, and they hate us for being able to stand upright.

Honestly I am shocked that hasn't happend in Michigan yet. The Michigan senate has been controlled by the GOP almost as long as I've been alive (over 40 years).

Yeah, Republicans are very happy when Government does nothing and even more happier when they get to goto War, or Reaganize the economy, or grease some palms. Nothing, or shit basically.

Conservatives view government as the enemy of their drive to amass infinite power and wealth for themselves, so they cripple it and then tell people government doesn't work, you have to suffer under us. This is the constant of Reagan and Newt and Cheney. It's as if, 50% of the time, we handed law enforcement over to the criminals.

It is actually amazing we are able to accomplish anything with the constant sabotage, embezzlement, and ineptitude of the Right. A country's prosperity and civilization is measured by the degree of exclusion of conservatives from power.

And the court. Wisconsin has elected judges.

I didn't realize that Candace Owens' husband currently owns Parler.

Walker isn't the only r-tarded black man the Republicans are taking advantage of this cycle.

Does he? I mean, he didn't get the South Park episode about him.

He learned from one of the best in KK. Keep the name in the news. Boebert, Green, Kardasians . . . it doesn't matter what they are selling, the formula is the same. Trump too, of course. They're all trolls the world keeps quoting.

It's no secret here that I'm clueless on many things. But it seems fairly evident that constantly citing MAGA garbage and decrying it as garbage is only feeding the beast. Isn't it true that every click on an article or cite mocking or supporting MAGA stupidity brings in another advertising dollar for the bad guys?

Correct. Suffocate them. The only people who should pay attention to Republicans are the DOJ.

There has been a show on HBO or Showtime or one of those pay channels about the Lincoln Project. It's been a pretty interesting inside look at the group and their work leading up to the election in 2020.

One of items that I found amusing was the billboard they put up in NYC of Jared and Ivanka, with the LP mocking them for Covid deaths.

The LP was endlessly chastised by supporters and haters alike for the ad, with numerous people criticizing them for running the ad in NYC, not exactly a Trump supporter hotspot.

As the LP people pointed out, it had nothing to do with wanting voters to see the billboard and change their vote. It was all about the money, and putting it in NYC (and the heart of the news) brought in millions.

So political figures bilking the rubes of their money is bad now?

My point is that the rubes being bilked through online media are increasingly not the political figures' supporters. Politicians and religious leaders have been bilking rubes since the dawn of time, but click-based revenue generation seems to have changed the game.

My comment was meant for Hovey. 6+ years now of Donnie's grifting, with nary a peep, and now suddenly he seems offended by the concept.
