I wish Gary Peters would put down his copy of Miss Manners and go after John James. Every ad I've seen from James is simply either "attack Peters" or say "I'm an outsider who will bring change."

It will be interesting when GA does go blue. The first election will be by 1 point. The next one will be by 10 when people actually have the right to vote.

It would've flipped 10+ years ago, if white yuppies weren't converted to Republican economic philosophy after moving to Atlanta in droves since the 90s. Something in the water, I guess.

Yeesh MN senate candidate Jason Lewis rushed to surgery for life threatening hernia.

I thought ATL was primarily a buppie city, now. I know it is very popular with young, highly educated, gay black men -- the guys who are uptight button-up business because the black community is so homophobic.

It's like 1920s Harlem.

In the “dumbest thing I’ve seen yet” department: This is all Nancy Pelosi’s fault because she didn’t forward articles of impeachment to stop the nomination process.

I hate far leftists more than Republicans some days.

Yeah. The Dems plan for the Supreme Court was RBG doesn't die. They're pretty dumb a lot of the time. If they were as good at politics as the Republicans we wouldn't be turning into Saudi Arabia right now.

Impeachment of who? Barr? El Hefty? Both of those would have backfired spectacularly.

The problem with the Far Left is they dont understand there is more to the fight than just when people are punching each other. Very few know how to play the game or see past the decision itself. That is why people like AOC are so important...she sees the game, the relevant moves and takes a step back to see the consequences. She gets there might 10 steps to get what you want but each of those steps matters. You dont just jump to step 9 and pray. People like Trixie and his ilk have a real issue with that because they forget even in a book great events in history take time. They didn't desegregate the schools just because of Brown...there was other cases first, other fights and losses. They go by prison rules, find the biggest guy and take him down and that will protect you.

Nothing was stopping this nomination even though it wasnt popular. The best thing the Dems did was take it seriously and not turn it into a massive spectacle. Another Kavanaugh hearing and this goes very bad. They presented the case the way they were supposed to and looked for the most part pretty calm and even handed (even cordial) and that was the way to play it. The game was rigged, the hand was lost and the Dems just needed to avoid looking like they were picking a fight over nothing. They let ACB make herself look stupid (hell Republican softball questions confused her) and the outrage stayed with who it rightfully should...the GOP.

If Nancy had impeached anyone in an effort to block it the Dems would have taken a hit.

Honestly I blocked some of those people on fb back when they were spending all day bashing “Mayo Pete.” Literally could not stand it anymore
