What the Dems never understand is part of their lack of popularity among the Great Unwashed is their mincing, "well akshually" instinct to be scrupulously fair to the point of giving Nazis a seat at the table. The proles look at that and think, "these fucks aren't capable of protecting us when the sh-t goes down," and so they run under the skirt of the nearest strongman do-uchebag because of a thousand stupid movies where the bad guy is the Only Man For The Job (e.g., "Thanas was Right").

Burn Dump and his Dumpies to the ground. it's not just defending democracy it's also practical politics. The Right learned long ago that if you say something in a stentorian voice the rubes will follow you regardless of the content of your speech. They just want their Sky Daddy to tell them what to do.

Obviously. The Right doesn't operate on the merits, it's just whatever moves their agenda forward. They have disconnected politics from reality. Their politics takes place in their MCU Universe. That is why they should be ignored and cut off from all means to indoctrinate, coordinate, or consolidate power.

This. Because any innocent Dem caught by their banana republic kangaroo court will just tie this up in actual court for years.

Trump, the House, the Senate, Trump appointed AG, Trump installed DOJ ALL had the chance to put Hillary on the stand like the Scarecrow in Dark Knight Rises, and what did they do? Nothing because they don't even believe their own bullsh*t.

So until the GQP looks like this:

Only people like Deathsantis would investigate people who attempted to save people's lives. At the theoretical expense of his rich buddies- although many of them managed to make out like thieves during the pandemic.

We're at the point where I think there's more than a few people who would contemplate exercising their "2A remedies" if the DoJ doesn't fucking act before Droolius runs again. Any assassination of a prominent fascist is very likely to ignite another civil war, so I'd like to avoid that scenario and I would hope our billionaire paymasters feel the same way. War and chaos on the home front isn't good for anyone's bottom line.
 
The thing that forever disproved the Illuminati to me is Dump survived in 2016.

However the Agency and the Bureau did it in the Sixties, it doesn't work anymore or, more likely, it only works for the Right (JFK, Malcolm, Martin, RFK).

Oh I dont expect they will do the right thing, just saying they could tell the DOJ to back off tomorrow and the day Biden leaves office they go after him no matter what.
 
While I am sure they're grateful for their appointments to a bench that practically comes with a country club membership, I think Dump is going to find that he hasn't bought himself anywhere near as much favor in the courts as he thinks. The type of person who becomes a federal judge doesn't usually tolerate much thinly-veiled legal bullshit and if it weren't for Trump I'm guessing that motion would already be dismissed with prejudice.

Mitch wanted and got an army of conservative judges, but he wasn't going to let Dump install a bunch of totally unqualified hacks. Particularly after he had to swallow the tiny shred that remained of his integrity and ram Beer Boy through to the highest court in the land.
 
Yeah even she wants to find a way to help him but his motion is so awful she couldn't. I mean seriously it is Giuliani/Ellis bad.

He can try and trick everyone into thinking he has a shred of integrity but his legacy is and always will be Beer Boy. When history is written after the planet is destroyed and we're all fighting for water like a bunch of dogs the chapter on Republicans and Turtle Boy will be one of complete disdain, and disgust. They will write of how they used their political power to enrich their friends and destroy the planet.
