I wouldn't say he's a lock to beat Margarine. Your/my definition of woefully unqualified is obviously quite a bit different from Peggy Sue and Cleetus' idea of qualifications for public office.

It isnt about qualified...it is about the fact that no one who votes for Abrams/Warnock is going to A) vote MTG or B) stay home if she is on the ticket. She will do fine with the Billy Bob's and the Military LARPERs but if you think she will make any headway in the areas that voted for a Jew and a Black Man then please come to my next Poker Night and feel free to rebuy in as many times as you so desire. She could be a Senator in Alabama...but the Atlanta Counties in GA (along with others like Savanah) aren't voting for a crackpot Qucumber. She will underperform even Perdue against Ossof when all is said and done.

Perdue was going to struggle against Warnock and he is twice the name MTG is. And, despite his ethical issues, he actually has less baggage than her. Her running for Senate will likely not only guarantee Warnock wins, but will also make it easier for the Dems to win the Governorship of GA as well. The MTG crowd will be Anti-Kemp...

She’ll lose but not because of what you said. It’s because of people like you and Ossoff aiming your evil space lasers at people to intimidate them
 
Yeah and the headline is a bit misleading...IIRC Trump just warned that what he was doing by not investigating deeper and finding the votes was a criminal act. I don't remember ever hear Trump explicitly say "if you don't do this the DOJ will take you down!".
 
Yeah, but it was implied. If the SOS and the rest didn't work harder to find the "election fraud" and find the votes Donnie needed, they were opening themselves up for criminal charges.

You know, like, if you don't find dirt on Biden, you might not get these missiles you need to keep Russia from invading your country.

All perfectly acceptable political negotiating tactics.

As always, just enough of a veil over the threat to give the lawyers something to work with and his supporters something to fixate on - but the actual meaning is plain as day.

Prosecutors who work organized crime deal with this all the time. There must be legally actionable standards of implied threat.
