Just gave my dog his monthly Heartguard chew yesterday. Should I have popped one for myself? He's 75 pounds, so I doubt his dose would be toxic to me.

Only if you chase it with some frontline tic preventive

The price of derp.

I'm amused that Dethsantis is in such denial, given that the odds of his followers are the ones dying is quite high. Go out of your way to BAN vaccine requirements, and then pretend that you are for the vaccine? The ultimate hypocrisy.

And I'm sure the deniers will point out that it can't be true that 30 year olds are dying, as it's just the old with conditions that are dying. (as if THAT is ok)

Florida on Thursday reported 21,723 more COVID-19 cases and 1,338 additional deaths to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to Miami Herald calculations of CDC data.

All but 38 of the newly reported deaths, about 97%, occurred after Aug. 5, according to the Herald analysis. About 70% of the newly reported died in the past two weeks, the analysis showed. The majority of deaths happened during Florida’s latest surge in COVID-19 cases, fueled by the delta variant.

“Businesses, schools and governmental agencies in Florida will be fined $5,000 for asking for proof of vaccination against the coronavirus starting later this month. In a new rule, the Florida Department of Health says it will notify businesses, governmental agencies or educational entities for mandating vaccines. The rule comes after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed Senate Bill 2006 into law in May, which prohibited businesses and schools from requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination.”

That's Unconstitutional. Private businesses can ask for that information.
