Florida on Thursday reported 21,765 more COVID-19 cases and 901 deaths to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to Miami Herald calculations of CDC data.

All but two of the newly reported deaths occurred after July 25, with about 78% of those people dying in the past two weeks, according to Herald calculations of data published by the CDC. The majority of deaths happened during Florida’s latest surge in COVID-19 cases, fueled by the delta variant.

It is the largest single-day increase to the death total in the state’s COVID pandemic history.

They don't have stupid recall rules like California does?

Yesterday 3 times as many people died PER HOUR in Flo(R)ida (with refrigerator trucks being used!) than died IN TOTAL in the Afghanistan blast...but the ratings for COVID suck now so it isn't worth discussing. I am sure if some of them like Chuck Todd and Andrea Mitchell did discuss it it would be Biden's fault anyways.

Well Central Florida ordered 14 trucks so who knows. Tampa also is now treating water with bleach instead of liquid oxygen because all the liquid O2 is being used for vents.

This is out of control. It was bad enough when there wasn't a vaccine but these types of numbers after a vaccine is just Jim Jones level cultish behavior. No one cares though because terrorists did terrorist things.
