The best thing that could happen is they split right down the middle and the most likely time that happens is after Dump dies. That's when religions have their crises.

I just finished a noir where finally after an immense amount of damage the antihero is removed by a sniper hitman. The implication is that was always going to happen but there simply came a moment where the expected value flipped to positive -- it became worth somebody's while. That and movies like Six Days of the Condor or The Eiger Sanction make me wonder: are there really such people? Free agents with "a very particular set of skills"?

I'll be masked at the Red Sox game tonight. I don't care if it's outside.

The other day I was watching the news and they did a story on West Nile Virus and how they found some infected mosquitos and recommended that people wear long sleeves and pants when outside during dusk (or dawn? or both) to prevent from being bitten. Why is it that asking people to do that, which is pretty much the same as asking them to wear masks IMHO, is not the issue that asking masks is?

That's what it is here right now, but I think they are getting spooked. We apparently had a sh-t ton of positives at our more ahem menial labor sites particular in warm weather locations and they have no desire to go back to begging sponsors for gazillions in direct charge remedies.

Because the clowns on rightwing talk radio have been spurting their poison 24/7 for 18 months and the sheep swallowed the whole load like it was their wife's boyfriend's.
