I was just sorting thru all the old bookmarked sites for tracking COVID. Interesting where the hotspots are now. Hmmm
I think correlation with voting for Biden and getting vax is something like .834 now

Now, please keep telling me how it's just people that were going to die anyway.

Technically, everyone is going to die anyway, so they are the best kind of correct.

“A customer who argued about wearing a face mask at a Georgia supermarket shot and killed a cashier on Monday and wounded a deputy sheriff working off duty at the store, law enforcement officials said.”

per nyt

It's interesting to compare total cases / 1M pop and total tests / 1 M pop which reveals some huge failures. Not sorry to pick on some neigbors, but ND, SD and WI that are near the bottom for total Tests per (47th, 49th and 46th respectively), yet still find themselves near the top for total cases per (1st, 3rd and 8th). MN is 23rd most for cases per, but also 10th most for tests per.

I would express concern, but many months ago, we were very much instructed to not care. Especially when the Dakotas crept toward the worst of the worst states in many categories, in spite of the natural social distancing....

It looks like about 25% of the time North Dakotans went in to see if they had Covid, it turns out they were right. 94% of the time Minnesotans checked, looks like it was a false alarm.

Seems about right.

There's a 100% chance that everyone who predicted that restrictions would be permanent will not realize that they got lifted, so if ANYTHING happens again, they will proclaim that the sky is falling.

When you heard some of the BS when things got shut down, this was a very predictable outcome. (one of the oddest was that Democrats are anti-business, when they, too, get much of their funding from.... businesses.... it's a non-sensical argument that is impossible to debate over)
