Grand Unified Election Thread 2: What is the difference between Biden and Dump?

Latest update on IA-2 from 538, which is in the middle of the recount and, well, it's still anyone's ballgame.

"Iowa’s 2nd District: The race for this open Democratic-held seat — the closest House race in the country — has gone to a recount. Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks leads Democrat Rita Hart by 41 votes in the latest count, but unofficial reports from four counties that have yet to finish recounting suggest that Hart may actually lead by 2. (Iowa Starting Line has a helpful spreadsheet.) However, Miller-Meeks is disputing the recount procedures in two of these counties, plus there are a handful of counties where the recount is still a black box, so this is a long way from over. The state is supposed to certify results on Monday, but historically, races this close have dragged on for months amid legal challenges."

I loved the one from the guy lamenting that he hated people selling shit to "make money off our president"

edit: Apparently Loeffler is not well like on Parler...they are not happy she is asking for donations even though she is rich. The delicious irony...

Kelly knows better than to play with the money she slept her way into. Her husband has apparently even called their relationship her riskiest career decision, implying he'd have fired her if it hadn't worked out. ;-)

So dump spoke via phone at Rudy’s presser, said the election has to be overturned, evidence is pouring in and they just need a judge to fairly look at it.

ok.

And a judge has now granted an injunction pausing Pennsylvania's certification...seriously this is getting out of hand. Why are judges even humoring this crap? This time it is because the clown who lost to Lamb is suing saying Article 77 which allowed for the new absentee voting system was unconstitutional...even though the GOP lead Leg is who passed it and no one challenged it before the deadline.

There is no need to allow this dreck in court anymore. I get judges want to shut it down but it isnt stopping anything and is only making the distrust in the election worse. Just deny it until they have evidence or you are no better than the lawyers who are bringing this BS to the docket. Especially since the election was certified anyways.

(the Judge is a Republican FWIW)

Tweeted this out Saturday, but worth remembering Sean Parnell defended Act 77, which revamped PA's election code, back in April before the primary. In this post-election lawsuit filed with Congressman Mike Kelly, he says Act 77 is unconstitutional.

The amount of people who believe Trump is going to be inaugurated on Jan 20 is both hilarious and scary at the same time...

So about the Flynn thing- has anyone noticed that many of the dumpy worshipers have claimed that Flynn's treatment is part of the reason they are so offended by Biden and anyone outside of their tribe?

It's amazing how dumb they are- he pleaded guilty in a court of law. This isn't people convicting him the court of public opinion, this is a person actually admitting that they broke the law, while under oath, in front of a judge.

Which is what most of dumpy's cronies did- not many of them faced a jury.

Yet these admissions of guilt in a court of law are somehow abusive to the people who admitted guilt.

What's more, the acceptance of a presidential pardon is an admission of guilt.

Of course, the dummies typically don't let facts get in the way of the chance to propagandize an event.

Popehat reviews the Kraken lawsuit. It's everything you'd expect.

So she spells the dude's name wrong twice in two different ways and then spells district wrong twice in two different ways. I am sure that won't make her look bad in court or anything...

edit: The amount of "Release the Karen", "Higgs Boson" and "Crack-en" type responses is why Twitter is amazing!

Here another lawyer proofreads it...yikes!

In this case the admission of guilt was... pleading guilty.

In general I don't believe accepting a pardon is an admission of anything other than "hey, I was convicted and hell yes I'll take a pardon." I can well imagine a person maintaining their innocence, being convicted, being pardoned, and never admitting guilt.

But of course Mr. Flynn is no such case. This f-cker pled guilty and the only reason he is being pardoned is he sheltered Dump from even worse criminal charges.

There should be no executive pardon power. It's dumb. Insofar as a pardon is a useful social good (and it can be) it should be administered by a board of specialists that is completely insulated from politics. Dump isn't the first to abuse the power, he's just the most craven, corrupt, and obscene.
