Still time to break 3200...they added over a hundred in the last 40 minutes or so. Should cross 220k cases as well so deaths won't be declining any time soon...

NH broke 800 yesterday, 900+ today.

Our nation's response to this virus has been shameful. People should go to prison for it.

No, it's up to the insurance companies.

NICE!!!

On the related tangent, it's amusing that people think that the current system gives them some kind of freedom that single payer would not- but all they are allowed to choose now is the health care company- one that is chosen, you get to go to fixed locations for fixed services- all laid out by the company. Whereas single payer would allow you to go to ANY provider for services that you need.

Then point out that the current system is just for profit socialism.

Cruised past 3200 to 3225 and 225k new cases.

Texas (274), Colorado (267), Pennsylvania (256), and Illinois (229) all over 200 dead. California (199), New Jersey (111), Arizona (108) and Iowa (102) all above 100. Indiana just outside that with 96 and Mass with 90.

At this rate we pass 300k sometime Friday.

The state can't make you get a vaccine, but the state can keep you off the streets if you didn't get one.

Good luck with that. There is a reason no state will mandate vaccinations outside of things like school participation. They don’t want to get Rudied.

And if things don't improve, 400k well before inauguration day.

What excuse do we have for not doing a lot more than we are doing? If this were ANYTHING else, there would be congressional hearings. And I mean literally anything else- car crashes, murders, plane crashes, water or air poisoning, etc. This country is an embarrassment to the world. Anyone who thinks this is ok when we are so much worse than very underdeveloped parts of this world is a psychopath.

We have 20%-30% who think it’s fake(Jeb, Chuck) and 20%-30% who stand by and let them be morons(Hovey.) I’m not sure if this whole things disgusts me or angers me more.

Nah they are too busy interfering in other states elections and wasting taxpayer dollars that could be used to help people.

The United States is an embarrassment...and the Red States are Un-American.

In the article I posted about Mitchell, SD people were saying they won't get the vaccine because they think the whole thing is a hoax...while their friends are dying.

There isnt enough vaccine to make this work, and there wont be enough buy in to make it work either. The USA is an epic failure.

Maybe you can talk Nancy into firing up the old House Committee on Un-American Activities.

According to National Health Foundation data, Los Angeles county ICU occupancy baseline rate is 90%, rising to 98% in flu season.

How does it make any sense to close down businesses at 85% occupancy when 90% is the baseline?

This is the year of total madness and of course lots of Science™

I think that I should have the right to decide whether people must wear masks in my home or my place of business. But I don't want you to decide that for me.

So I have to wear pants no matter how much I want to walk around the grocery store all nekky and free, but being compelled to wear a mask to prevent transmission of a highly contagious virus is totally unreasonable?

It’s exhausting. Much like covidiots won’t believe science , many of them repeat the same boogeyman tales of single payer. I’ve worked in single payer systems for years and actually know them well.

better care for less money is just not attractive to that crowd. No amount of data will help.

wait times in the US have gone up significantly in recent years. It’s hard to find multiple categories where our system does better than single payers

No matter what CovidZombies think a mouth and nose isn't a new set of private parts. Masks in the general public don't prevent transmission.

Saw an article today that featured a woman crying. Talked about her South Dakota town passing a mask mandate because of the death. She was crying because of the mask mandate.

“Debbie Emme cries after the city council approves the mask mandate by a 5-to-3 vote at the Mitchell Corn Palace. (KC McGinnis for The Washington Post)”
