Everyone knew who Trump was 4 years ago - and almost half of the voters (popular vote) chose him. Blaming Trump for his behavior only goes so far. This train-wreck that has been the Trump presidency should be blamed on those that voted for him then and now. Sad.

I last voted for a republican 18 years ago, sheriff and prosecuting attorney races in St. Joe County IN. Before that it was McCain 2 years earlier as a Michigan resident in the republican primary. And before that it was fairly regular for me, maybe a third of my ballots were for republicans. Never, never, never again. Never. The party is a cult. It is filled with traitors and cowards. It is un-American. trump's performance in the White House briefing room is the saddest political moment I have ever witnessed. Be proud republicans. That is your party.

There were some hardcore Rs on those sites but before Trump they werent awful. (outside of the one old dude who always got threads closed) That site sucked posted 2016 because of how awful the politics got and I still havent gone back since the second night of the Floyd Riots. I doubt I ever will...although until the Big Ten restarted Gopherhole was way worse. The mods basically allowed any thread to become a COVID politics fight. It took a couple QAnon twats going too far and getting banned to change things a bit and once the season restarted the mods came back and funneled it out of the main threads.

I hate all of this...
