Reading through a few of the stories they all have a little different spin on them.

The cops argument has to do with the prosecution, not with the views of folks on this board.

It’s really bizarre cops wearing bulletproof vests and physically able can shoot unarmed people all day long and it’s fine but some old, vulnerable person shoots an unarmed person and gets the book thrown at them.

One of my wife's extended family is a specialist in Western US History (it's a thing). The Wild West was basically Afghanistan without rocket launchers. It was also much blacker and much gayer than you would think.

Yeah I have read a lot of books on it...very interesting time. You could get away with a lot...just dont steal anyone's horse ;)

I read a great book on Tombstone and the fight between the Earps and the "Cowboys" and good lord it is hard to tell who the criminals were and who the heroes were. That is the Wild West.

Westerns wrote the mythology but the truth is as you say much Blacker and Gayer. And everyone gambled, drank and whored! The Wild West was just Las Vegas with more opium...

Did the cops shake his hand and congratulate him on “standing his ground?” Guy in Houston this week shot a fake parking attendant and then returned to his online date
