Well, we know Doc is a liar. How do we know? His statement that he was resigning so his pregnant wife could have family support turns out, as everyone knew then, to be knowingly untrue.
So Doc's words must me scrutinized if they are to be believed at all.
Are we to believe Doc's quote that university vice chancellor Poole and athletic director Karr told him, "your staff ain't happy"? Either speak proper English, Doc, or leave out the quotation!
