Yale @ RPI in the Freakout

Re: Yale @ RPI in the Freakout

Bookies had this right on the money. RPI played the last couple minutes with desperation that they need to show all game long.

Re: Yale @ RPI in the Freakout

To those who wished me a happy birthday, I thank you all.. :)
Was very surprised to hear the band play it during the game. Almost felt like it was for me.
But of course, we didn’t win. And no PtC points. So as someone once said on an old TV show “a perfectly good birthday shot to hell”.

Re: Yale @ RPI in the Freakout

From what could be seen on RPI-TV, there didn't appear to be an RPI player in the crease. I would think Yale's challenge would have had to be based on a contention that the goalie had the puck under his glove and the play should have been blown dead before Zieky poked it loose.

I don't think that's actually reviewable. You can review if it went in prior to the whistle or the intention thereof, but not if the play should be stopped. Now that I watched it again, they probably looked to see if there was goaltender interference, and there clearly wasn't. The ref is positioned behind the goal, so he would have clearly seen the puck wasn't completely covered.
