So, with the football season coming up, how do you spend your Sundays (or weekends in general)?

Re: Worthless Poll #5: NFL Sundays

Watched nearly 12 hours yesterday. :)

Were you feeling ill?

Watched football (and pre-/post-game related programming) from 10am until the end of the Gernts game. During travel time to/from OC, it was on sports radio for updates. :)

Thankfully, week 2 wasn't as packed at OC as it was week 1. After the first half of the MN game, many people cleared out (I'm guessing they go their for lunch after church or something).

Re: Worthless Poll #5: NFL Sundays

My answer changed from 0 hours to 12 hours with two inventions: the intertubes and Fantasy Leagues.

I don't think I've watched a regular season game on TV in 8 years.

Hell, I watch up to 6 reg season games on tv(s) at once thanks to local establishments with the NFL package. It's glorious.

No. Lazy.
And I had company. We played cribbage, ate Chinese, and enjoyed the games (well, the company did not enjoy the Pats game).

I meant ONLY 12 hours? ;)

I wasn't counting sports bar TVs. :) I just meant home TV.

Then again, I don't frequent sports bars much post-marriage.

Re: Worthless Poll #5: NFL Sundays

I actually watched football - a lot - from about 1990-1997. Then the Packers won the Super Bowl and it became unbearable (and I didn't even live in Wisconsin that season), so I stopped watching. Which leads me to believe I didn't actually like football that much in the first place.

Re: Worthless Poll #5: NFL Sundays

If next three people say that they don't watch football, all the choices will be tied. :D
