Wisconsin High School Hockey Finals--March 3-5

Thursday's boys' quarterfinals
Game-1: Notre Dame vs. Marquette University - Noon
Game-2: Middleton vs. Cedarburg - approx. 35 mins. following Game-1
Game-3: Eau Claire Memorial vs. Wisconsin Dells/Reedsburg Area - 6 p.m.
Game-4: New Richmond vs. Wausau West - approx. 35 mins. following Game-#3

Note: New Richmond knocked Superior out. Last year's defending champion, University School of Milwaukee, is not in this year, but Wausau West comes in as last year's runner-up. Dells/Reedsburg and Cedarburg are first-time entrants.

Friday's girls' semifinals:
Game-1: River Falls Co-op vs. Appleton West/East/North - Noon
Game-2: Mosinee Co-op vs. Sun Prairie Co-op - approx. 35 mins. following Game-1

St. Croix Fusion (River Falls Co-op) is the two-time defending champion.

Game-4: Wausau West 5, New Richmond 0

Also, the games are available on live stream via Fox Sports Wisconsin. The girls' semis start at noon.

Today's finals:

Girls--River Falls Co-op (St. Croix Fusion) vs Mosinee Co-op (Central Wisconsin Indians)

Boys--Middleton vs Wausau West

Selton Saxby of Eau Claire Memorial was named Wisconsin's Mr. Hockey.

Girls game going into OT #4. Some exciting chances for both teams, but some of the girls that are double shifting look pretty tired. Alice Cranston is quite a player.

How many high school teams are there in Wisconsin? Girls and Boys...or where could I find the info?

Great game! I watched most of the game and they definitely put on a show...nothing better than overtime hockey!
