The Big Ten regular season champion Minnesota Golden Gophers moved one step closer to a conference tournament title and an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as they downed Ohio State 3-0 at Joe Louis Arena in the first semifinal game of the Big Ten tourney on Friday.
