Re: Who will win the WCHA Tournament in 2014?

Can I not vote for BC?
I neglected to include the Eagles, as the bracket works against them, as does the history of the event -- no non-WCHA team has ever won the WCHA Tournament.

Yeah, I know. But after the night I had last night a guy has to have something to believe in.

Re: Who will win the WCHA Tournament in 2014?

League statistical comparisons of vote distribution rather interesting.

Not surprising to see the WCHA favorite most dominant
However despite the run-away regular season title by BC in HE, it is the league with the most diverse voting.
ECAC, that had the tightest standings was second in voting domination.
In two of four cases, the second highest vote getter was the third place team. (ECAC and HE)

League........... % 1st .......... % 2nd........ Teams w votes
WCHA.............80% (1).........15% (2)..... 3/8
ECAC..............70% (1).........13% (3)..... 5/8
CHA................60% (1).........20% (2)..... 5/6
HE..................54% (1).........25% (3)..... 6/8

As of 10am Eastern, Sun March 2nd.
