Who will be crowned the Hobey Baker award??

Re: Who will be crowned the Hobey Baker award??

With the award's top half being a miniaturized Neil Broten, it really makes you wonder.

Actually, Steve Christoff of the 1980 Olympic team modeled for the Hobey Baker Trophy and Neil Broten was the First Recipient

Congrats Drew.

Side note: anybody else think that Gaudreau didn't look like he knew where he was or what was going on?

Just for the record... Harty was still robbed
I don't think he was robbed. I think the goose egg in Atlantic City did him in. Not the loss, but the 4 goals he allowed. Had that game been closer, or a win, I think he wins the Hobey.

I have no problem with LeBlanc winning it and say congratulations to him. The bottom line is all 3 were deserving of the award but I think LeBlanc's off-ice story was better than the other two.

Plus, Hartzell has an opportunity to hoist a much bigger trophy and I think he'd trade the Hobey for that any day. We'll see in about 24 hrs how that works out for him.

Nice to see my old pal Hans Skulstad giving the award to Drew. Nice job Hans, I mean Drew.
