Well, since the reason that B1G is most excited to sponsor hockey is that it gives them more control over TV programming for their network, I think we can count on some made for TV spectacle.

I'm still standing by my 1%-10% pick. Remember, Tom Anastos (the former CCHA Commish.) will not be running the BTHC. It was Tommy-boi who wanted shoot-outs as well as that dumb 3-point scoring system.

Yes, the BTN will have a say in the decision but I honestly don't think it'll happen (at least I'm praying that it doesn't). I'd actually think everyone else would want them because Michigan is absolutely dreadful at them.

I think the 3 point system is/was great, EVERY game is worth 3 points, not like the NHL where some games are worth 2 and others are worth 3.
Shoot wins shouldnt be worth as much as a win in regulation , IMO

As I see it, your only options are as follows:

• Boo during shootouts
• Hold up a sign, voicing your displeasure, during shootouts
• Write long-winded, boring letters to your AD
• Write a short letter to your AD, stating that shootouts will effect how much $$$ you give the program (applies to donors only, effectiveness is proportional to how much you donate)
• Go crazy and scream about it at the supermarket next to the homeless guy screaming about socialism
• During shootouts, start singing songs about how ties are just fine and shootouts are stupid (applies to drunken English soccer fans only... best in large groups)
• When the game "ends" in a tie, leave. Just leave. You saw two teams that were evenly matched for 65 minutes, and the "exhibition" is not worth your time. If you're lucky, enough people will follow you out the door that someone will notice.
