No chance in hell they stay in the CCHA. They will most likely go to Hockey East with another team (Western Michigan?).

So assuming Western and Notre Dame both leave for the same place, that leaves Ferris, Northern, LSSU, BG, and Alaska looking for homes.
Someone is going to be left on the streets and stuck going through with Alabama-Huntsville is.

ND bring NBC (Versus) into the mix.
I think they stay out West. Join the super and get a 8 team / 28 game league schedule which minimizes finding out of conference games.

Since all of the new conferences are totally about money.... where would there be more money- ND vs. BC or ND vs. UND? ND vs. UCONN or ND vs. Denver?
Irrelevant how good the opposition is or isn't. More people will watch ND vs. BC on a regular basis than half of ND vs. NCHC combined, I think. WAY, WAY more money playing the east schools if they are not part of the B10.
And it's all about money, now.

No way Hockey East makes any sort of move in all of this mess....
Can you blame them? They are arguably the only league in the country right now where everyone is happy. I don't see why they would be interested in breaking up their geographic advantage either.
