WCHA Pick'Em

I see a lot of conference "pick-em" threads and was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing the same for the WCHA games. I'd be happy to keep track of points. Rules could be the same as other similar threads. Let me know if there's any interest and if so, I'll choose some games for this weekend.

Alright well I'll explain the rules and then throw up the first week of games.

1. Points are awarded as follows:
a. 3 points for a win
b. 2 points for an OT win
c. 1 point for a tie
2. Have your picks in by 5 pm Friday (central time)
3. I'll keep track of the points in excell and let everyone know on Sunday or Monday

That's how the CCHA Pick 'Em works because that's how the CCHA awards points. You either get 3 or 0 points in a non-tie and 2 (if you correctly pick the shootout winner) or 1 points (if you pick the shootout loser) in the case of a tie / shootout.

In the ECAC and AHA Pick 'Em threads, it's 1 point for a win, 2 points for correctly picking a tie, 0 points for incorrectly picking a tie (i.e. picking a team, but the game result is a tie).

The HEA Pick 'Em threads (when they were still being run) was the same as the ECAC and AHA, but asked you to pick the score and would grant a bonus point for picking the score correctly.

The CHA Pick 'Em threads (when the CHA still existed) asked you to pick the series result (i.e. Team X will earn 3 points over Team Y this weekend).

The NCAA Pick 'Em thread run by College Hockey Weekly operates closer to the CCHA and awards a full point for a win and half-points based on ties.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is... come up with your own scoring mechanism and use it. Don't try to conform to the consensus on how to score the thread. There is no consensus.
